WELCOME BACK TO THE HECKLERPLAINS WEBSITE:  I HAVE TALKED ABOUT DOING A ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN,  OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS HAS DECIDED THAT THE VALPAK PACKAGE, FOR THE MOST PART, ISN'T THE BEST OPTION, THEY FEEL THAT TO MANY PEOPLE JUST THROW THESE THINGS AWAY WHEN THEY ARRIVE.  WHAT WE HAVE DECIDED TO DO, IS A PLACEMAT ADVERTISING, AT THE ROY ANN DINER ON OLD 309, OUTSIDE OF SELLERSVILLE.  IT IS ALWAYS A BUSY PLACE, AND WE'VE CONTRACTED TO RUN IT FOR 6 MONTHS, FROM MARCH THROUGH AUGUST, THIS WILL PUT 90,000-100,000 PLACEMATS IN FRONT OF THE LOCAL PUBLIC, AND HELP GENERATE A GREAT TURNOUT FOR THE EVENTS.  WE MAY STILL ASK VENDORS FOR A 10% DISCOUNT ON ANY ONE ITEM, TO HELP DEFER OUR COST FOR THIS VENTURE, BUT IT SHOULD HELP BRING MORE PEOPLE IN, AND HAVE MORE SALES FOR VENDORS.  In 2010, we will again be offering a discount to vendors who book both the May & August shows, this will be $40.00, otherwise each show will cost $15.00 for the May show, and $30.00 for the August show respectively.

Our Current Craft Vendors

     I have ordered some much needed signs, which should be here within about a week, this should help draw many more people in to view both your crafts and artwork, and our colonial craft demonstrations.   In the past our group has had marquees in Harleysville, and they will still be there, but the new signs will be posted at the 113 exit ramps on rt .309,  Allentown Rd., rt. 63, rt. 73 at skippack leading North on 113, and at Landis Rd. itself, and somewhere east on Landis rd., leading west to the site.     We have our regular newspaper ads, plus we are again listed in Pennsylvania Magazine.  Sunshine Artist Magazine (covers the entire country), Phillyburbs.net, Pa. Events.com., Eventlister.com., Craftlister.com., Festival.net. and I have some notices in various businesses around the area.     IF YOU ARE A VENDOR, AND ARE INTERESTED IN A SPOT FOR THE 2010 HECKLERFEST, PLEASE EMAIL ME, AT TAZZY17@YAHOO.COM.       I HAVE PREVIOUSLY CONTACTED VALPACK ABOUT TRYING SOMETHING WITH A COUPON, WHICH WOULD GO INTO ABOUT 10,000 HOMES, per area.   IF I COULD GET OUR VENDORS TO PARTICIPATE, POSSIBLY GIVING BUYERS A 10%OFF COUPON ON ANY ONE ITEM FROM ANY VENDOR AT OUR SHOW, SOMETHING LIKE THIS MAY BRING IN HUNDREDS, OR MORE PEOPLE  TO THE EVENT, GIVING MORE REVENUE TO ALL CRAFTERS AND ARTIST, AS WELL AS OUR CHILDRENS PROGRAMS AND RESTORATION .   AGAIN IN 2010 I AM OFFERING BOTH CRAFT AND ARTIST A BOOK BOTH SHOWS DISCOUNT.   INDIVIDUALLY, OUR MAY SHOW IS $15, AND HECKLERFEST $30, BOOK BOTH SHOWS AND GET BOTH FOR $40.00.
